HOW TO SET YOUR WEEK UP FOR SUCCESS

One thing I’m always getting asked is how I stay so focused, motivated and positive when it comes to my business. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

⁣⁣As you know; business always has it's ups and downs!⁣⁣ Some weeks are easy breezy and others - you're reaching for out of nespresso pods. 😂


But one way I stay consistent AF is setting my week up for success RIGHT at the beginning of the week! I know you've probably heard this before - plan your week at the start, but are you ACTUALLY doing it?

Get organised, get focused and keep your mindset STRONG❤️⁣⁣

That's my trick! So, here are my six tips to set up your week for success for the busy entrepreneur:

1. Get clear on your 3 main goals for the week

It's easy for us to get bogged down in all the things we want to do. We want to drink a gallon of water everyday, make a million pounds, and actually post everyday of the week on IG. But, let's be honest - if we overload ourselves with a million goals, we are setting ourselves up for failure. So....stick to three main goals that will make you feel accomplished and successful at the end of the week. Write these down and make them a non-negotiable! 

2. Write + read your 5 most empowering affirmations

Affirmations are not just silly sentences. They are powerful words of transformation that when we actually use them - can create amazing shifts in our mindset! Write out your 5 most empowering affirmations on a sticky note or journal and challenge yourself to read them to yourself throughout the week! 

3. Journal out all of the things you need to release or let go of from the previous week

Alot of times we don't even realize how much baggage we are carrying from the week before. These could be stressors from personal life or maybe something that wrong with one of your clients. It's always best to release these things and start the week fresh on a positive note!

4. Plan out your nitty gritty to do list

We can get so sidetracked with "busy" work that doesn't help us move the needle forward in our business or help us accomplish our goals. Make a list of everything you ACTUALLY need to get done that week. I love to keep my to do list in my project management tool - Asana - it allows me to easily check off my tasks as I complete them and.....I feel so accomplished when the task ticks of the screen!

5. Write your mindset goal for the week

It's not always about your business. Your business is reliant on your mental capabilities and therefore it is always important to develop your self in this area. Pick one goal that you would like to accomplish this week to help you gain clarity or work through a struggle! 

6. Schedule self care

This is soooooo important! We often forget that we actually need to take care of ourselves and schedule in a little pampering. Look at your calendar and know when your week looks most hectic. Perhaps you have a full day of calls or just a long to do list - pencil in some time after you've accomplished your to dos. Maybe this is the time that you take a bath, put on your favorite spa mask, or just watch some reality tv!
