I would always feel guilty for buying myself new things "I don't need"

Shopping was always full of guilt.⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣Money always felt tight⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣I could easily purchase something for someone else, but when it came to me I always felt guilty & unworthy. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣Does this resonate? ⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣I would never allow myself luxuries, I’d always feel guilty about going for lunch knowing ‘I could make it at home’ - this wasn’t because I didn’t have the money for lunch, it was because I was so scared to release money.⁣⁣⁣
